Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse in a teaching hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients, with a focus on open heart procedures. The position offers a structured schedule with consistent hours, catering to experienced professionals who can perform complex cardiac surgeries and related procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS; 2 years of relevant clinical experience in operating room settings, specifically in open heart or cardiovascular surgery; valid state license required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience.
• Float: Main OR; float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be capable of at least orthopedic or neuro experience in addition to cardiovascular operating room procedures. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be submitted with the profile; guaranteed hours are 36 for 3x12-hour shifts, 48 for 4x12-hour shifts, and 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours. EPIC experience preferred.
