Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Manchester, New Hampshire. The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a general medical-surgical unit equipped with advanced technology and a collaborative team environment. The role requires engagement in patient assessments, various procedures, and participation in unit activities to promote patient safety and care excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, Med/Surg skill set, head-to-toe assessment, orthopedic care knowledge, IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or subQ, wound care including drain management and vacs, NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition, central line management (PICC, HD catheter, midlines), foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care, ostomy care, postoperative patient care, a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern equipment such as automated blood pressure machines, vein finder, remotetelemetry monitoring; participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Additional Information: The unit features new blood pressure machines, a positive team atmosphere, monthly UPC meetings, and high staff retention rates.
