Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in California is needed for an immediate start at an acute care hospital. This position requires experienced OR nurses to provide specialized surgical care across a variety of procedures, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases. The role involves working night shifts with potential multiple on-call shifts as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California license in hand; 3 years of recent OR experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures; BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; previous float between units or facilities.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Night shifts are usually staffed with 2 RNs or 1 RN and 1 Surgical Technologist. Night shifts may include coverage of one night as needed. The assignment involves covering a variety of complex surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays and provide two recent references covering at least one year during the last three years.
