Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
This emergency room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, supporting a fast-paced ER environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic department, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: Denver, CO
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • One or more years of current acute care emergency department RN experience
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • ER charge RN experience
  • Willingness to float between emergency department areas
• Additional Information:
  • Typical procedures performed include EKGs, IV insertions, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care
  • Devices used include GE monitors and Baxter pumps
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
  • Staffing includes 2 RNs per shift, with additional support staff
