Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position located in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a Level IV trauma facility. This position requires flexibility to float to medical-surgical units when necessary, and it is scheduled for night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania license; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years ICU experience; candidate must be willing and able to float to medical-surgical units and handle a patient ratio of 1:6 depending on patient status
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with common diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
• Additional Information: Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to the start date. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. All fingerprinting and background clearance requirements, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and Pennsylvania State Police Clearance, must be completed before employment. Candidates should be willing to work night shifts and float as needed within the ICU and Med-Surg units.
