Registered Nurse / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position located in Downey, California. The role involves providing specialized care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care setting, focusing on critically ill newborns. The position requires the ability to work night shifts, ensuring around-the-clock patient care and medical support.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights; 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • One year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Valid registered nurse license in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
  • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
  • Seven (7) years of recent Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience (within the last ten years)
• Additional Information:
  • Must have ACLS certification
  • Position available starting 08/17/2026
