Registered Nurse / Clinic (No Specific Specialty)

Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in clinic care within a healthcare organization in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing outpatient cardiology services, including patient assessment, triage, and education. The selected candidate will support patients preparing for or recovering from cardiac procedures, ensuring clinical quality and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026 and ending on 04/16/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State RN license or Compact license, at least 1 year of experience working as an RN in outpatient cardiology clinic and triage settings, proficiency with charting system EPIC, and current BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient cardiac clinics, familiarity with cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, and electrophysiology.
• Float: Not required to float between units.
• Additional Information: The patient population consists of cardiology patients requiring detailed assessment of symptoms, medication management, and post-procedure care. Candidates must be capable of managing complex cases and escalating urgent issues like chest pain, shortness of breath, or signs of vascular access complications. The role involves patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence, telephone triage duties, and adherence to universal precautions.

• Certifications: Must hold valid BLS certification.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience in outpatient cardiology or triage settings preferred.
• Other Requirements: No weekend coverage or on-call required.
