Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse opportunity in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to post-anesthesia patients, including assessment, airway management, and pharmacology, in a high-acuity setting. The position requires the ability to work independently and efficiently to support patient recovery from anesthesia across various age groups and clinical scenarios.

Job Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, at least 2 years of PACU registered nursing experience, experience with Epic charting system preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-acuity hospital environments and with cardiac/catheterization laboratory procedures
  • Additional Information: Float to other campuses if needed and census permits; orientation includes 24 hours of training; ongoing compliance documentation required prior to start date.
  • Travel Experience Required: Yes
