Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care on a specialized telemetry unit, supporting positive patient outcomes through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position offers night shifts in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License in Missouri or meeting licensure eligibility; BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association; 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing; ability to provide care for adult patients in a telemetry setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar or lower acuity units as needed.
• Additional Information: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments to optimize outcomes. Functions within the scope of nursing practice according to Missouri Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Candidate must be available for orientation during day shifts and work at least one major winter holiday. The position requires team-oriented individuals who care about positive patient outcomes and possess strong communication skills.
