Job Summary:
This Operating Room (OR) Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse position is based in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac, vascular, and endovascular procedures, with the flexibility to work assignments ranging from 13 to 26 weeks. The position requires float availability to multiple campuses and a strong background in endovascular techniques.

Job Details:

  • Location: Atlanta, Georgia
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in nursing, current Georgia or compact license, at least 15 years of clinical experience in operating room settings, including strong endovascular experience, and experience in cardiac and vascular procedures. Experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, or robotics is preferred.
  • Additional Information:
    • The assignment length is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension beyond 13 weeks.
    • Call rotation is every 4 weeks, requiring 48-60 hours, including weekend call. Staff can choose whether to sign up for calls on their days off or their workdays.
    • CALL is typically scheduled at booked locations; float to other campuses may be required.
    • Parking is available at a rate of $75 per month, with a start date by 09/14/2026 to secure this rate.
    • The candidate must have a Georgia or compact license in hand prior to start.
    • Candidates should be within a 50-mile radius and no local travelers are accepted.
    • The facility provides two on-call rooms for staff during on-call shifts.
