Iowa Methodist is one of two Level I Trauma Centers in the state of Iowa. Life Flight, the air ambulance program for Iowa Methodist, began in 1979 and continues to fly hundreds of vital missions per year. 16 ORs 1,050 cases/month Variety of cases, Level I Trauma Ctr All specialties Open Heart, Kidney Transplant, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Pediatrics, Plastics, Urology, Vascular, Gynecology, Oncology
