Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Aiken, South Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population. The role requires delivering competent, compassionate, and efficient care, with a focus on patient assessment, documentation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The RN will support patients` growth and development needs across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift times, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina; minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience, including at least 6 months of telemetry experience; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); CPI - Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute`s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills Training course; experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, timely admission assessments, and appropriate documentation. The role requires applying clinical knowledge to meet the individual needs of patients across all age groups, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
