Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position located in Sun City West, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a designated clinical setting. The nurse will utilize professional judgment and clinical skills to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with organizational policies and standards of practice.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a valid compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing and professional certification are preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves direct patient care activities within a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for documenting patient assessments, plan of care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. The role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, providing patient education, and contributing to clinical quality improvement initiatives.
