Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room Open Heart at a healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. This position involves supporting cardiac and vascular procedures within a dynamic surgical environment. The role offers 13 to 26-week assignment opportunities, with potential for extension, and requires flexibility to float between multiple campuses as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia or compact license, at least 2 years of experience in operating room open heart procedures, strong endovascular expertise, and preferred experience in Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics.
• Additional Information: The assignment length is initially 13 weeks with possible extension. On-call responsibilities are every 48-60 hours over a 4-week period, with weekend call required. On-call can be scheduled on off days or during scheduled workdays but staff cannot be required to stay on call for the entire 12-hour shift. On-call duties involve potential float between three campuses, with typically 1-day notice before scheduled cases. Parking at the facility costs $75 per month, and the assignment must commence by 09/07/2026 to qualify for the current rate.
