Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Austell, Georgia. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative patient care within the surgical environment. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional prepared to support various surgical specialties and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of accredited school of nursing with requisite clinical hours; active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working in an operating room setting.
• Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures, monitor patient vital signs, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and coordinate patient care before and after surgeries.
• Additional Information: Clinicians will float among various surgical specialties and will have the opportunity to select their own call dates. Call shift hours are self-assigned in a randomized order, with 24-40 hours of call during a 4-week cycle, to be scheduled flexibly according to departmental needs. The shift timing is from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm, four days a week.
