Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is based in a community-focused healthcare setting in Sonora. This role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to critically ill patients, adhering to established standards and utilizing clinical judgment. The position also entails supervising and directing nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patient and family education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certification; 1 year of experience in an acute care facility preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information: The role requires the collection and analysis of patient data, development and implementation of care plans, and participation in discharge planning. The nurse will delegate duties and coordinate care with healthcare team members, providing education and maintaining a safe environment. All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment. The employer participates in E-Verify.
