Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves floating between units within the adult Emergency Department, which is a high-acuity, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral facility specializing in trauma, cardiac, and stroke care. The RN will provide emergency care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents and geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission). Experience with a minimum of 2 years, including charge nurse experience, patient ratio experience (4 patients per nurse), and proficiency in charting with Epic. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC. Must have at least 48 hours approved.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma centers (Level I or II), community hospital experience, and familiarity with multidisciplinary support teams such as IV, physical therapy, respiratory, radiology, social services, rapid response, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible to float in the adult ER, work in ED holding, and respond to high-acuity trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies. Must include RTO requests during submittal and have references covering the past 1 year.
