Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position in Sioux City, Iowa. This role involves providing clinical care within the ICU setting as part of an interdisciplinary team. The position requires flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses and involves night shifts with scheduled orientation sessions. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 17, 2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa state nursing license; at least 2 years of ICU experience; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Epic EMR certification or experience; must have a drivers license
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • Certifications: TNCC (preferred), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
  • Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 08/17/2026
  • Location: 801 5th St, Sioux City, Iowa 51101
  • Additional Information:
    • First-time traveler candidates are welcome.
    • The orientation schedule includes multiple sessions from June through December.
    • On-call is not required for this position.
    • The nurse will work every third weekend.
