Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at a healthcare organization in Atlanta, GA. The position involves supporting cardiac, vascular, neurosurgical, surgical oncology, and robotics procedures in a dynamic hospital environment. Assignments are flexible, lasting between 13 and 26 weeks, with the potential for longer durations. The role requires working day shifts, with on-call responsibilities at the booked location, and floating to other campuses as needed.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
  • Schedule: Call required every 4-week period, 48-60 hours; weekend call also required. Staff can choose to sign up for call on their day off or on scheduled workdays. Call may involve staying in one of two on-call rooms.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in cardiac, vascular, neurosurgical, surgical oncology, or robotics nursing; GA or compact nursing license; 10 years of experience in operating room settings; willingness to float to multiple campuses if needed; strong endovascular experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neurosurgical procedures, surgical oncology, and robotics is preferred.
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with longer options possible.
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026 (must start by this date to qualify for preferred housing rate).
  • Additional Information: The position involves supporting cardiac and vascular procedures, with a preference for candidates with neurosurgical, surgical oncology, and robotics experience. Parking costs $75/month. No float is required for this role. The employer expects to schedule candidates with one days notice for procedures, and on-call duties are limited to the booked location.
