Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in California. This role involves providing direct patient care within a telemetry unit, utilizing evidence-based practices, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Telemetry Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while educating patients and their families to promote recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Position Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Stanford, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry nursing, strong assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate patient care, monitoring patients` cardiac status through telemetry equipment, and responding quickly to emergent situations. The role includes patient education, collaboration with the healthcare team, and contributing to continuous quality improvement in the clinical setting.
