Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse position available in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods within a Level III trauma designated facility. The position offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped environment serving a diverse patient population in a scenic and welcoming community.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: No experience required; current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (recognized through AHA)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric care preferred
- Additional Information: The position involves caring for adult female patients in the labor and delivery unit, with equipment including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Cerner. The unit has 14 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. The Nurse will be expected to float to other inpatient nursing units as needed. The role is a contractor replacement starting on 09/07/2026, with a weekly minimum of 36 hours.
