Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Nurse (ICU) working in an adult intensive care unit located in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing specialized patient care for critically ill adults, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN), ACLS certification, BLS certification, at least 2 years of ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes modules to be completed on the first day, Epic training (if needed), and one day of unit-specific orientation. The candidate will report to the designated reporting location and must ensure proper parking in employee designated areas.
