Registered Nurse / Nurse Manager

Job Summary:
The New York-based Nurse Manager position oversees nursing practice within a healthcare organization located in New York. The role involves leading clinical nursing operations, fostering a patient-centered care environment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to staff management, patient experience, and operational excellence.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing; licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State; 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience with preferred charge nurse or supervisory experience; relevant clinical competence in the area of nursing practice assigned.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master`s degree in nursing or a health-related field.
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes leading nursing practice based on relationship-centered and modified primary nursing models, supporting clinical quality and safety initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and possess strong administrative abilities.
