Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a cardiovascular interventional laboratory that features diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient services in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts with alternating/staggered start times (6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.). The schedule involves no block scheduling or set shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); 2 years of experience in cardiac/surgical ICU nursing; experience in Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory, including catheterization and/or electrophysiology labs; familiarity with moderate sedation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC CUPID, Critical Care Certification, and trauma courses.
• Floats: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. The Cath and EP labs handle diagnostic and interventional procedures for various cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with potential weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call duties, requiring a 30-minute response time.
