Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in obstetric care is sought for a high-acuity, fast-paced unit located in Carmel, Indiana. This role involves providing comprehensive maternity services in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit that supports approximately 250 deliveries per month. The position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team environment dedicated to evidence-based patient care and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Job Details:

• Location: Carmel, Indiana
• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); active Indiana state nursing license; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetric or high-acuity maternal care is desirable.
• Additional Information: This role provides an opportunity to work in a dedicated maternity environment with 24/7 in-house coverage, including OB anesthesia, OB hospitalists, neonatology, and pediatric hospitalists. The unit adheres to American Womens Health & Obstetric Nurses (AWHONN) staffing guidelines and offers a supportive setting focused on rapid clinical response and patient safety.
