Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) registered nurse position available in Springfield, MA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the surgical environment, supporting patient safety and comfort throughout operative procedures. The position requires a dedicated professional to work daytime shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Certifications in CPR (AHA or equivalent), and circulating or scrub nurse experience in an operating room setting; 5 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty; located within Massachusetts or willing to relocate to Springfield, MA; no minimum experience required beyond current scope of practice
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with surgical instrumentation and patient care in an OR setting; familiarity with SOPs related to surgical procedures and safety standards
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves supporting a variety of surgical cases, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards such as AHA Guidelines. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining sterile environments, assisting surgical teams, and managing patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
