Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Stanford, California. This position involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the emergency setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and their families to promote recovery and ensure safety.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; CA-Registered Nurse (RN) license; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; TNCC; able to communicate effectively in English; 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides hands-on care practicing within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The RN performs all steps of the nursing process, including assessing patients, interpreting data, and coordinating care with other providers. The RN is responsible for their own professional development, including licensure and BLS certification, and must demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning. The role involves rapid problem-solving, emergency response activation, and participation in unit programs to foster team building and continuous improvement.
