Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse practitioner position is located in a well-established healthcare facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery Department, supporting patients through various stages of childbirth and postpartum care. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a scenic region renowned for outdoor recreation and cultural attractions.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications as specified by the LPNT checklist, relevant educational background, and at least 0 years of experience. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility location to be considered. All clinical staff must be fingerprinted and provide documentation of background check processing in accordance with New Mexico State Department of Health requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. This healthcare facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and is a designated Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI as well as a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
