Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) is needed for a facility located in Clyde, North Carolina. The position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. This role is suitable for healthcare professionals committed to delivering quality care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Clyde, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse (MS); additional certifications as required; must meet the location and educational requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with common diagnoses such as fx, COPD, hypertension (HTN), chest pain (CP), congestive heart failure (CHF), and infections
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted bi-weekly, with upcoming start dates on 08/03/2026, 08/17/2026, and 08/31/2026. The unit caters to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4. The facility is certified by The Joint Commission and is equipped with Paragon electronic health records system.
