Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Bakersfield, California. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an emergency department setting. Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 3 years of relevant ER experience; current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; knowledge of advanced nursing practices, medical terminology, and infection control protocols; strong skills in patient assessment, nursing care coordination, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and medical terminology.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a bachelors or associate degree.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Active health requirements must be maintained as designated by the organization.
