Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner in Kokomo, Indiana. This role involves providing care for all emergency room patients within a fast-paced, 15-room emergency department. The position requires clinical expertise and leadership skills to effectively manage patient care and assist in overseeing ER operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); must have 2 years of experience, charge experience, and be comfortable in a charge role.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is staffed with 24/7 respiratory therapists, emergency room providers, and hospitalist team members. The ER handles approximately 100 patients daily and is supported by a 13-bed intensive care unit, medical-surgical, progressive care unit, acute rehab, and level 2 obstetrics services.
