Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Float

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery Float is needed at a healthcare facility in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized inpatient obstetric and neonatal care, supporting the labor and delivery unit with float coverage as needed. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift hours, 36 guaranteed hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS; Kentucky RN licensure; minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery and charge experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: OB/L&D experience and charge nurse experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is part of a 8-bed labor and delivery department that follows AWHONN standards for patient ratios. The facility offers a supportive environment for registered nurses with a focus on womens health services.
