Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position in Hilo, Hawaii. This opportunity involves working a rotating shift schedule on a 13-week contract, with scheduled 36 hours per week starting from August 24, 2026. The role requires flexibility to work various shift lengths and days, and candidates must be adaptable to float to other units within the facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12 hours per shift, scheduled 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: 2 to 10 years of nursing experience; Hawaii State licensure is required by start date; BLS and ACLS certifications; proof of flu vaccination or approved exception; flexibility to float to Laulima and Cardiovascular units; must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Medical Surgical Floor; ability to work flexible hours and shifts
- Additional Information: Candidate must have an active Hawaii license at the time of contract start. No guarantee of hours or shift preference. Orientation will be provided for each unit.
