Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Springfield, MO. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy urban trauma center, utilizing advanced nursing skills to manage a diverse patient population. The RN will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within a level-one trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn center environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license appropriate for the state of Missouri or eligible for licensure there; BLS, ACLS, PALS (from AHA), TNCC, NIHSS certifications; 1 year of experience in Emergency Department or Level 2 Trauma facility; located in Missouri.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma/pediatrics experience, high patient volume (200+ patients/day), high acuity care experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will utilize the nursing process to ensure optimal patient care, coordinate with ancillary departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality. The role requires physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting patients, and other physical demands consistent with emergency nursing.
