Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves providing direct clinical care to neonatal patients on a day shift, with an emphasis on assessing, planning, and implementing patient care. The NICU RN will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality and safe patient care, and support operational excellence within the unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, educational background in nursing, 1 year of NICU experience, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, and a minimum of 1 year NICU experience
- Additional Information: The NICU RN will be responsible for supervising staff, adhering to hospital protocols and SOPs, and ensuring compliance with AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) guidelines. The role emphasizes patient safety, clinical excellence, and effective resource management.
