Registered Nurse / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position located in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level 2 NICU setting, with a focus on Women`s Health services rather than critical care. The position supports rotating 12-hour shifts and requires the ability to float to Post Partum units for baby care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating day/night shifts from 0700-1900 and 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license in hand, at least 1 year of NICU experience, EPIC charting experience is mandatory, and ability to work in a Level 2 NICU unit (more aligned with Women`s Health services).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a community hospital setting; ability to float to postpartum units; familiarity with modules and billing for up to 5 hours of training; background policy reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have NY licensure prior to submission. Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible. Applicants should be prepared to float and handle baby catchments during C-section cases. The contract spans 8 weeks with the possibility of extension.
