Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is located in Weatherford, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a busy obstetric unit. The position requires a dedicated and patient-focused healthcare professional capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse
• Location: Weatherford, TX
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Education: Valid nursing licensure and relevant clinical training
  • Experience: Catching babies during deliveries (Cesarean section and spontaneous vaginal delivery), routine postpartum care, circumcisions, and post-operative gynecological care
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GYN post-op patients
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records such as CPN or Meditech
• Additional Information:
  • The unit has 10 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3 for couplets.
  • Staff work collaboratively in a supportive environment, emphasizing patient-centered care and teamwork.
  • Unit utilizes modern equipment and technology to enhance patient outcomes.
