Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing critical care for pediatric cardiac and neonatal patients within a specialized unit utilizing advanced equipment and technology. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to complex pediatric populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience of more than 2 years, ACLS, BLS, & PALS certifications, and candidates must meet educational requirements and possibly specific location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT skills, ECMO bedside experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit has 10 beds in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, equipped with Phillips monitors, Medfusion, and Baxter pumps. The team averages 10 years of nursing experience and maintains a culture of safety, serving congenital cardiac and neonatal populations with advanced equipment such as the centrimag, prismax, and arctic sun. The multidisciplinary team includes board-certified pediatric and congenital heart intensivists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on compassionate, high-quality critical care. The assignment begins on 08/17/2026.
