Licensed Practical Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary
Long Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Malone, NY. This assignment is scheduled for 13 to 16 weeks and involves evening shifts. The position requires providing patient care in a long-term care setting, adhering to all relevant standards of practice and facility policies. The role involves working an 8-hour shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and the schedule will be assigned to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Job Details

• Location: Malone, NY
• Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, no block schedules are permitted, bi-weekly orientations on Monday
• Required Qualifications:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, additional certifications are optional
  • Long-term care (LTC) experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
  • LPN licensure or proof of application with applied date, to be submitted at the time of application (NY license required; licensing process takes approximately 6-8 weeks)
  • Ability to cover CNA duties as needed
