Registered Nurse / Pediatric Hematology Oncology

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Hematology Oncology to provide high-quality patient care in a dedicated pediatric oncology unit. Located in MESA, Arizona, this role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and professional nursing practices.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week starting from 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in pediatric hematology/oncology. Relevant training and education consistent with position requirements, with experience in specialized pediatric oncology nursing preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification in pediatric hematology/oncology are preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The position entails providing direct patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in education and research activities, and documenting patient assessments accurately and in a timely manner. The nurse may also be involved in supervising staff and supporting clinical and operational efficiency. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, as well as adherence to all regulatory and organizational policies.
