Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Lone Tree, Colorado. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced surgery center setting. The position requires flexibility to float across all neighboring surgery centers in the Denver area, supporting various surgical specialties and procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a registered nurse with a minimum of 1-year current acute care operating room (OR) experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating multiple service lines in a high-volume environment, including pediatrics. PACU experience and familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures such as ortho sports medicine, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, podiatry, plastic surgery, and urology are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation possible, requiring the nurse to work at all surgery centers within the Denver area.
- Additional Information: The facility is a fast-paced surgery center adjacent to a medical center, performing a diverse range of cases with generally lower acuity patients. The team is stable with longevity, and the environment offers an engaging variety of procedures.
