Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Englewood, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care within a busy Level II trauma center. The role requires a proactive and team-oriented professional capable of managing diverse and acute patient needs during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: The healthcare provider offers a well-resourced emergency department equipped with advanced technology including LifePak, Lucus, Philips, and GE EMRMeditech.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); at least 1 year of current acute care emergency department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large hospital setting and prior Meditech experience.
• Additional Information: The unit manages a high volume of cases involving IV insertion, EKG interpretation, Foley catheter placement, splinting, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments. The environment fosters teamwork and utilizes new equipment and technology to ensure optimal patient care.
