Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing urgent and critical care in a busy emergency department environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and utilizing advanced medical equipment to meet patient needs effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current acute care hospital emergency department experience of at least 1 year, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 11 Trauma experience, Stroke experience
• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to perform all emergency department care procedures. Candidates should possess an energetic and collaborative personality, with strong communication skills and experience working with staff and providers in urgent and high-pressure situations. The unit is equipped with EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose testing devices.
