Registered Nurse / Telemetry Medical Surgical Float

Job Summary:
The Telemetry Medical Surgical Float registered nurse position is located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a critical care setting, capable of performing own phlebotomy and IV procedures, with at least two years of medical-surgical telemetry experience. The RN will work night shifts while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure; BLS certification; successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module; successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam; 2+ years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience; travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform own phlebotomy and IV placement. Experience with chest drainage devices, epidural analgesia, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac medication assessment is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Must be able to float between facilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility in clinical settings. Candidates should be familiar with electronic medical records and emergency response procedures.
