Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular Nursing opportunity in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting. The focus is on coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a fast-paced, specialized environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Minimum of 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) experience; Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Required Skills: NURSING, PATIENT CARE, PATIENT ASSESSMENT, CARE PLANNING, POINT OF CARE TESTING.
• Additional Information: The role demands strong interdisciplinary collaboration, adherence to healthcare standards compliance, effective discharge planning, complex problem-solving skills, safety management, active participation in education programs, patient education, proficient use of communication systems, promotion of cost-effective care, feedback provision to team members, awareness of regulatory guidelines, and maintaining a safe hospital environment.
