Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Portland, Maine. This role involves working within a 26-bed operating room providing surgical care across various specialties. The position requires at least 2 years of experience, including trauma experience, with a focus on flexibility, accountability, and teamwork. The schedule encompasses day shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including every 1 in 4 weekends with 12-hour shifts.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification (CNOR preferred), at least 2 years of clinical experience in operating room settings, including trauma experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general surgery, urology/gynecology, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The facility features advanced equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and an Intuitive Robot. EMR system is Epic. The unit maintains a staffing level of 26 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, serving a diverse surgical patient population. The candidate must be flexible, responsible, punctual, and a team player. Scrubs are issued in teal and must be worn as per dress code.
