Registered Nurse / Telemetry Medical Surgical Float

Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Nurse in Rock Island, Illinois. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team at a facility with a focus on trauma and emergency services. The role requires flexibility to float across units as needed, with scheduled orientations and consistent overnight shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
• Education and Experience: Two years of previous experience required; at least one travel contract completed preferred.
• Licenses: Illinois state license required; Iowa license on offer.
• Additional Qualifications: Must hold a driver`s license, have a work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, copy of certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Technical Skills: Experience with chest tubes, fem stops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and some titration of medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban.
• Other Requirements: Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
