Job Summary:
The Operating Room Technician (ORT) position is based in Poughkeepsie, New York. Job Details:

• Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician; High school diploma or equivalent; Valid state licensure if applicable; No experience minimum specified, but at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an operating room setting, ability to support workflow improvements, and familiarity with hospital protocols.
• Additional Information: The position involves supporting surgical teams by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared, maintaining sterile techniques, and assisting during procedures. The role is integral to optimizing OR efficiency and patient safety.
