Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing direct patient care in a multi-service surgical environment, supporting various shifts with on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have recent OR experience and current nursing certifications to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: Augusta, Georgia
• Schedule: Various shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: All certifications required upon hire including RN license (Single State Registered Nurse or Multi-state Compact RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross BLS, and BLS-Instructor certification. Less than 1 year of experience preferred; completion of accredited school of nursing with requisite clinical hours.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a multi-service operating room setting with 2-3 years as an OR circulator.
• Additional Notes: Shift: Various shifts. On-call requirements: 3 on-call shifts within every 4-week schedule.
• Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures, ensure compliance with SOPs, respond to emergency situations, and collaborate with the surgical team.
• Special Requirements: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments; excellent time management and critical thinking skills; proficiency with clinical technology and basic computer skills.
