Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
The Oncology Nursing Specialist (MS ONC) in Boston, Massachusetts, offers a rewarding opportunity working in a chemotherapy treatment environment. This position involves providing specialized care to adult oncology patients within an ambulatory setting, focusing on chemotherapy administration. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of working a schedule that includes 10-hour shifts, with an expectation of a minimum of 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be committed to patient care excellence in a fast-paced outpatient facility.

Job Details:

• Position: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working days from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with guaranteed 30 hours per week; full-time work possible.
• Required Qualifications: MA license required at time of submission; chemotherapy certification required; at least 2 years of oncology experience; ambulatory setting experience and chemo administration experience; flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working specifically in oncology treatment areas.
• Additional Information: This position is for a chemotherapy treatment nurse providing care to adult patients, with no weekend or holiday shifts. Orientation occurs weekly every Monday barring holidays. Candidates must be separated from the facility for at least one year if previously employed there. All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application. Parking may cost up to $43 per day in some cases.
